This SATURDAY 18th August saw the launch of the STRANGE CARGO concept on it's new home; SOUL LEGENDS RADIO. Special TEN TO CONTEND SELECTIONS were warmly received courtesy of special guests 2 x 80's soul weekender sisters in rhythm (Tracy Coomber & Julie Stevens.)
Featured Artist of the Week was Concious London Poet Dean Atta to which I laid some sweet hip hop beats behind to bring a never heard before listening experience to the first show.
In addition I chopped up a US pastor giving a sermon also to some particularly sweet hip hop for this episode and custom crafted an EPIC intro over a minute long to launch the concept and "Set the Stall out", as it were ;-)
There were a couple of impromptu comedy moments with Del Boy & Trig Sampled, as well as Will Ferrel, Vince Vaughn and practically the entire cast of C4's Incredible comedy legend Peep Show.
The first instalment was a Happy, Happy, Clappy type of affair jam packed full of feel good music and well laid back tunage to sooth the soul; we had a little groove along the way to ;-)
The girls SOLID SOUL grooves went down a storm with Julie bringing a bit of unexpected Neo- Action to the table and we had 2 best friends going back to back, track for track; SOUND-CLASH STYLE! - Just how we like it!

Conclusion;
All in all, a great day to launch, the sun was out as were friends en force to share the sun drenched vibes of the show, all that was missing was a microphone, due to last minute technical hitches but still that ensured a talk free experience 100 per cent consisting of high quality and heavy weighted tunage from all over the place.
Already looking forward to next week and getting on with the planning to incorporate live call ins and mobile broadcasting to take the adventures on tour a little hopefully in the not too distant future. The Mic, situation is already sorted,
